Plop & KanKr, alias Julie Besombes and Simon Baert, is a duo of French cartoonists publishing in regional, national and international press (Le Monde, Sud Ouest, Le Temps, Siné Mensuel, L’Anjou Laïque, Le Sans-Culotte 85, La Galipote ...). They also take part in various caricature and editorial cartoonists festivals and run workshops around press cartoon and illustration.
In October 2017, they received the public prize at the 36th St-Just-le-Martel Caricature, editorial cartoon and Humor Show.
In 2017, they joined the association of French editorial cartoonists « France-Cartoons » and in 2020 the international network of committed editorial cartoonists « Cartooning For Peace » as well as « Cartoon Movement ».
