Jack Smith has released his final report on the January 6th insurrection, and it’s clear—if Trump hadn’t been able to run out the clock and win the presidency, he would have been convicted for everything. The report is very detailed and leaves no room for doubt. Trump targeted witnesses and the courts. He knew his claims of voter fraud in the 2020 election were lies! When he was told that Mike Pence’s life was in danger because Pence wouldn’t illegally overturn the election (a power he didn’t even have), Trump didn’t care and he even tweeted to stir up his followers against Pence. We also learned that on December 13th, two of Trump’s allies planned to push the fake elector scheme, no matter what the election results were. They admitted they wanted to steal the election.

Now, these people are back in power, and any safeguards against Trump’s worst impulses are gone. Trump has found a VP who will be even more sycophantic to him, and he’s surrounded himself with people who only say yes to him. Go read the report—it’s shocking!
