Sara Duterte And Her Dream To Behead Bongbong Marcos

In a recent press conference, Philippine Vice President Sara Duterte said she “wanted to cut his head off” after she realized that her relationship with Philippine President Bongbong Marcos had turned toxic. She also said that she would dig up the body of the dictator Ferdinand Marcos's body (who is Bongbong Marcos's father) and throw the corpse to the West Philippine Sea.

Sara Duterte is currently under investigation by the Philippine House for alleged corruption, which included allegations of bribery and misuse of millions in confidential funds during Duterte's time as education secretary. Duterte sees this investigation as a political attack by President Marcos and his allies in the congress to Duterte's political power.

These recent actions point to a break in the political alliance between Bongbong Marcos and Sara Duterte that has serious ramifications in the Philippine political scene.

I adopted the cartoon technique of adding one color of red to an otherwise black and white cartoon from fellow editorial cartoonists David Cohen and Eric Garcia, who often use that technique in their cartoons.
