Hicabi Demirci was born in Samsun, Turkey in 1968. He finished Faculty of Sciences at the University of Ankara in 1992. For a long time, he was part of the animation studio. Today his works include book, magazine and journal covers, yielding successful results in the field of graphic arts. He has been given awards in various national and international cartoon competitions. In his view, journalism is meant to expose power.
