To correct my comment: Neither Bettina Ross nor I have said anything about Trump. I did not see William's comment.
None of us have said anything about Trump here.
Re: Pete Kreiner: "And yet you all applaud anti-Trump cartoons depicting him as a “Nazi” on here 🤷🏻♂️"
Pete, I have never done so and would appreciate if you didn't lump me in with everyone else (whoever they may be) - in the same way that I'm not holding you responsible for everyone else's cartoon on here...
And yet you all applaud anti-Trump cartoons depicting him as a “Nazi” on here 🤷🏻♂️
I agree with Bettina Ross. Plus the cartoon title is wrong. Calling Harris a 'dictator on day two' does not normalize Trump himself promising that he will be dictator on day one, Trump calling to terminate the Constitution, Trump calling to set up concentration camps, Trump calling to deport legal immigrants, Trump threatening to arrest all political opponents and even Democrats in general. And Trump rallies, like the Trump boat parade a day or two ago, are usually full of people waving nazi flags.
I agree with Bettina Ross. There are many fair ways to criticize politicians, but based on many of your previous cartoons, it seems like painting those you disagree with as Nazis is common. Respectfully, there are better ways to get your message across, as this type of imagery discredits the cartoon as being potentially extreme.
I notice this is the second time you're using this appalling image. Regardless of the side one supports in the US elections, this is a crass, entirely inappropriate & offensive depiction. And no, it's not justified by artistic license or freedom of expression.
