Jasper The Cat Dreads A Second Trump Term
Here is a Jasper the Cat cartoon about my own anxieties and fears about Donald Trump's second term as American President.
I don't have any answers to how to best respond.
But I want to use my cartoons to address two things.
I want to try to figure out how to reach out to Trump supporters within the Asian American community and address their legitimate economic grievances without falling into the alternative reality of the MAGA world.
The second thing I want my editorial cartoons to do is the defend the Filipino American community and other vulnerable minority communities who are threatened by Trump's policies and Trumpism.
I don't know if it's possible to do both.
