Islamophobia in Canada

While the U.K has seen an upsurge in Islamophobia after successive terrorist attacks in Manchester and London, Canada has also seen a rise in the phenomenon with the number of police-reported hate crimes against Muslims jumping by 60 per cent in 2016 compared to the previous year, according to Statistics Canada.
