Dear Hong Kong: Sorry About The Airport

This week, a US-backed "pro-democracy" mob took over Hong Kong airport, causing huge disruptions. I gagged the next day when the "revolutionaries" greeted people there in symbolic eye bandages in solidarity with an injured comrade, holding signs apologizing for the previous day's havoc. Apologizing? Why were they there, then? Isn't that the point of a mass direct action like this? That was the point of getting 100,000 people into the streets of Seattle and Washington DC 20 years ago to disrupt the meetings of the WTO, IMF and World Bank – and we sure as hell weren't apologizing for anything.
