BIDEN: Farewell to the presidency with a crime of global scale

According to various US media outlets, outgoing US President Joe Biden has reportedly authorized the Ukrainian regime to use the ATACMS missiles he has provided against targets in Russian territory, despite the warning issued last September by Russian President Vladimir Putin that such a move would be considered a direct attack by Washington and NATO against Russia; according to Putin, Ukrainian military personnel lack the capabilities and technical conditions to operate the ATACMS, which could only be operated by military specialists from the United States or other countries in the Atlantic Alliance.

The pretext for such a decision would be the version – which these same media present as a proven fact – that there are North Korean troops reinforcing the Russians, particularly in the Kursk area, even though this circumstance could well be one of the usual fabrications of the United States to undertake new wars, as was the case in 2003 with the alleged possession of weapons of mass destruction by Iraq, something that only existed in the minds of Washington's propaganda makers.

If the aforementioned authorization is confirmed, the world would be on the verge of a confrontation between the largest nuclear powers, a scenario that would necessarily be catastrophic not only for Ukraine, the United States and the Russian Federation, but for the entire European continent and for humanity as a whole.

It should be noted that the next occupant of the White House, the Republican Donald Trump, has referred on several occasions to his determination to seek a quick end to the conflict between kyiv and Moscow. In such circumstances, it would be unusual and perverse if, less than two months before leaving office, Biden were to make a decision that would leave his successor with a much more violent, complicated and dangerous war scenario than the current one.
