Emma Cook

Emma Cook is a Londoner who emigrated to Aotearoa New Zealand in 2014 with her husband and son.

At the tender age of 38 she met Rod Emmerson, an award winning cartoonist for the NZ Herald, who encouraged her to pursue a career in editorial cartooning.

In 2017 Emma produced some illustrations for the Saturday edition of the Dominion Post (now The Post) and was then hired to cover Malcolm Walker at the Sunday News.

Now Emma is a National Editorial / Political Cartoonist for Stuff.co.nz and thepost.co.nz and has a weekly slot of her own.
