Pierpaolo Rovero

Pierpaolo Rovero, born in 1974, is an Italian artist based in Turin. He worked for about two decades as a comic book artist, publishing for Walt Disney in Italy and for some of the most important French publishing houses such as Glenat and Casterman. He created illustrations for book covers (Mondadori, Rizzoli, Edizioni E/O, La Nave di Teseo, De Agostini, Fayard and many other publishing houses) and characters for animated films and advertisements. In 2010, he changed the scale of his project, entering the art world. His works are exhibited in galleries in various European cities. He holds the position of Chair of Comic Art at the Academy of Fine Arts in Turin.
