Thank you William. That is my view of the gaza situation. Hamas and Israel have reached a point where there is no room for reconciliation. If a life is sacred to the Israelis, Hamas does not hesitate to serve its own people as an offering to what they call a greater end, which would be the destruction of the Hebrew state. there can be no reconciliation there. Hamas has hijacked the will of its people to realize its particular Iranian-directed goals. Excuse me, but I do not believe in this ceasefire.
Gaza in ruins is a victory? Negotiating an end to the war is defeat? Gazans started a war that cost 40k lives, and they will need luck negotiating and years of rebuilding just to return to where they were on Oct 6, 2023. The attitude in this cartoon is why there will never be peace.
