Thanksgiving Day is celebrated in November, but more and more communities around the USA are reframing the holiday as an opportunity to share the true history of the holiday, changing the colonial narrative that has been prevalent for so long.
For Native American communities, is a National Day of Mourning, a time to remember and reflect on the genocide and mistreatment of millions of Native Americans.
