The Minister of Transport of Latvia stated at the press conference that the situation on Latvian roads is critical, stating that it is the joint responsibility of the entire society to get out of the bottom, where Latvia is one of the countries with the most deaths on the roads in the entire European Union.
"This is a catastrophic statistic. More than two-thirds of our drivers systematically break the speed limit," the minister said.
