#MeToo: the new whistleblow(st)ers, gender-inclusive...
The viral hashtag #MeToo bandwagon, which is since October 2017 being used massively by women in order to denounce sexual harassment, is here HIJACKED to make a more relaxed statement about the inequality of the sexes with regard to harassment. By going back to the archetypical situation associated with whistling : construction workers wolf-whistling after a sexy woman passing by... Why do we not see more women whistling in the streets at sexy men? Because women are generally more respectful (or inhibited)? And would both situations be always and equally reprehensible?
