MARCINELLE 2016

Yesterday it was 60 years since the tragedy of Marcinelle who had seen the death of 262 miners, of which 136 Italians.

For the large number of victims the tragedy had helped to lift the veil on working prohibitive conditions and miserable living who were forced workers, almost all immigrants from their countries of origin in poverty after the Great War.

Something changed if only in consideration that the labor time needed for economic growth was made up of people.
