Deal With The Devil

Bashar al-Assad's assault on the people of Syria once again shows us the lengths that a Leader will go to maintain control. As the world stands by and debates the merits of intervening thousands of people have lost their lives. In response there has been an international outcry tempered by a surprising lack of restraint in the manor in which it is expressed. To date there has been no attempt to intercede other than to verbally admonish Assad which has only led to further violence.
