China's Debt-Trap Diplomacy

The Chinese government has been granting tremendous foreign aid to developing countries, especially in some parts of Asia and Africa. These grants are in form of infrastructure projects and loans that are required to be repaid with eerily high interest. However, most of those countries fell into this trap, so China was able to get an unfair advantage over their key financial sources.
