As for Sinwar, supposedly while in prison he was asked "is it worth 10,000 innocent people to die in order to free 100 prisoners" and Sinwar replied "even 100,000 is worth it." Sinwar might end up getting his wish, since his replacement has rejected the chance for peace and has called to continue the war. Sinwar earned the title of "The Butcher of Khan Younis" for killing fellow Palestinians. If Sinwar hadn't miscalculated in thinking that the Israelis were too busy with Lebanon to watch the tunnels and had managed to leave Gaza, he would be in Qatar now commanding more Palestinians to their deaths.

I agree with Patrick. Both Che and Sinwar were terrorists, but Che didn't steal billions of dollars from his own people, Che didn't hide like a coward in tunnels while using civilians as human shields, and Che would have been revolted at raping and killing civilians on Oct 7.
