Blind Lady Justice
While I’m aware that the blindfold is ‘supposedly’ to symbolize the non-bias ideals of justice, I find myself having a more cynical interpretation with having looked at the history of the American justice system. This has been recently brought further into light with the police brutality murder of George Floyd that instigated and is continuously demonstrated throughout Black Lives Matter protest, amongst other things.
