The State against the People

In Brazil and in countries where social inequality prevails, the poor are considered unworthy of life. Police actions are planned without regard to the safety of favela residents. There is no respect for the law at all. Police invade homes, exchange gunfire with criminals in residential areas and around schools. Retaliation actions carried out by corrupt police are recurrent, where residents are attacked, women are raped and families are slaughtered.
