Harassment

Cartoonists must be prepared for reactions on their work, by people who agree with them, but also by people who vehemently disagree with one or more of their cartoons. Debate is always good, but especially on the Internet debate can degenerate into personal insults and death threats. Our community has been engaged in an ongoing debate what to do in the case of trolls, and when a troll is a troll. Elchicotriste: Some of you will have noticed that for over a year CM has been under troll attack, some of us authors facing daily harassment, threats in an operation of passive-agressive censorship towards suppression of our work and the treatment of certain topics. This is a drawing to encourage all those cartoonists that are fighting alone.
