World Water Day
22 March is World Water Day, a day when the United Nations pledges to take action to tackle a global drinking water crisis.
A very worthy cause, but sadly the U.N sheds no tears for the other water crisis escalating out of control in the Mediterranean with more than 9,000 migrants drowning between September 2015 and February 2018.
