Viktor Orbán and EU
On December 15, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban blocked the agreement of the leaders of the European Union (EU) member states on a package of financial support for Ukraine in the amount of 50 billion euros. Continuation of financial support to Kyiv is part of a proposal for a long-term review of the EU's budget. It is planned to decide on these issues again at an emergency summit at the beginning of next year.
