Transparency

On this International Day of Remembrance and Tribute to the Victims of Terrorism, I remember the 2,976 people who were murdered on September 11, 2001, either directly or indirectly as a result of a wider plot by the George W Bush administration to invade the Middle East in order to gain control of strategic oil reserves, and the millions of Iraqi's, Syrians, Afghani's and others killed or maimed during the subsequent "War on Terror" military operations carried out by the United States over a decade and a half.
