Terror Eyes

I entered a cartoon contest last year for a crack at the $10k first prize so I could renovate our bathroom.

I entered "Terror Eyes" and forgot all about it.

About a month later I was relieved to hear the contest had been called off due to death threats and protests.

Then a week later I get an email from one of the organisers.

"Out of thousands of entries received there were a hundred or so considered, and yours was right there with the best, and the consensus is it would have won".

A story of cartoon rejection and no $10k, but as my wife said, probably for the better.
