A Somali Islamist known to Australian counter-terrorism police has gone on a knife rampage in a busy Melbourne street, decapitating one victim and injuring two others in a premeditated attack before being fatally shot by police.
Multiple witnesses also reported hearing the man shouting "Allahu Akbar" during the rampage.
