Past - Present - Future - Kragujevac Today
On today's Orthodox Christian holiday, the Presentation of the Lord, the First Serbian Uprising of 1804 was raised against centuries-old Turkish rule, and in 1835 in Kragujevac, the first Serbian Constitution was adopted. Today in Kragujevac, students from all over Serbia, with the support of the majority of the people, will hold a 15-hour blockade of the main city boulevard from 9 a.m. The goal is to force the corrupt Government of the Republic of Serbia to exercise power in accordance with the Constitution and laws of the Republic of Serbia.
