Juan Gabriel 1950 - 2016
Prolific Mexican singer-songwriter known for his flamboyant style has passed away in California aged 66.
In a career spanning four decades the (at times) sombrero-wearing Gabriel whose real name was Alberto Aguilera Valadez, wrote 1,800 songs and sold more than 100 million albums, which is a shitload of albums and why I did a cartoon about him.
