Despite the euphoria surrounding his role in an election campaign which saw Labour's proportion of the national vote rise to almost forty per cent, 68 year-old Jeremy Corbyn remains a polarizing figure within a party determined to dump him as recently as March and which hasn't denied that behind the scenes it's been quietly vetting a string of potential leadership successors including rising young Labour stars Angela Rayner and Rebecca Long-Bailey.
