Islam Hijacked

Opinion:

Last Tuesday's terrorist attack in Strasbourg by a radicalized French citizen has once again raised questions about the complex connection between expressions of Islam and terrorism.

Prominent Muslim leaders need to stop denying these links, and Islamic Councils worldwide must come down hard on hate preachers spreading their toxic messages in mosques, places of learning and the internet.

Until they do, Islam will remain hijacked.
