Identity Maze

No other concept has so many facets as identity: the way you define yourself can empower you, but the way you are defined by others can limit or even oppress you. Cartoon Movement was present at a two-day symposium that focuses on identity. We asked the participants to draw their own perspective on identity; our cartoonists selected some of these perspectives to make a cartoon. This cartoon is based on an idea by Sabine van der Laan.
