Fadi, Netanyahu is not the best partner for peace, but Hamas could end the war at any time by laying down arms and releasing the hostages. Israel left Gaza almost 20 years ago, and once the hostages are back and once missiles stop falling on Israeli cities, Israelis will demand an end to any occupation, as they did 20 years ago. There was a ceasefire and hostage exchange early on after Oct 7, and it was Hamas, not Israel, that violated the ceasefire. Sinwar's replacement could have called for peace, but instead he called to continue fighting. Both Israel and Hamas have been proposing agreements, but Hamas doesn't realize that starting a war and losing doesn't give it the right to demand terms that leave it capable of starting a new war.

William, The whole world knows that Netanyahu is the one who does not want to stop the war and knows that the agreement is ready and its implementation depends on stopping the aggression on Gaza.

Fadi, yes, Netanyahu is corrupt, but are you saying that Gazans broke a ceasefire on Oct 7 to start a war through a brutal invasion of Israel to show how Netanyahu is a war criminal? There wouldn't be any hostages if Gazans hadn't taken hostages on Oct 7. If Gazans really wanted to 'stop the genocide', now that Sinwar is gone and that Israel is offering amnesty, nothing is stopping Gazans from laying down arms and releasing the hostages. Israel went into southern Lebanon only because Hezbollah has fired over 10,000 missiles towards Israeli cities since Oct 7. Gaza's allies in Lebanon, Syria, Yemen, and Iran keep trying to set the entire region on fire.

William, I repeat my advice to you to visit the nearest ophthalmologist clinic to your home to follow the correct news about who is obstructing the prisoner deal and who is oppressing the families of the prisoners in Tel Aviv... I am sure of what I have drawn and I will draw more against the war criminal who has set the entire region on fire in order to remain in power in Israel and escape from prison due to corruption cases that are pursuing him here and there in Israel.

Fadi, Jews have been living in Judea since biblical times. Calling the indigenous people "occupiers" is backwards. Ottoman Turks, among others, were occupiers who tried to ethnically cleanse Judea of Jews.

For the "bring them home" sign in the cartoon, note that the new leader of Hamas has refused to end the war or to release hostages, and that Israel has offered amnesty to anyone who provides help in returning hostages.

@William.... Ohhhhhh really!!!? I didn’t know that, so thank you, but I advise you to have your eyes checked by the nearest ophthalmologist so you can read the history of Palestine and its occupation more than seventy-five years ago.

Gaza started the war a year ago with its genocidal invasion of Israel. When Hamas broke a later ceasefire, one of its claims was that it couldn't meet its promise of returning hostages because didn't know where all of the hostages were. Hamas will never bargain in good faith and will never return the hostages. A Hamas official recently admitted that 80% of Gaza fatalities are Hamas or family members, which is not a genocide against Gazans.
