Flee Time

Assad’s militias are finally breaking, and Syria is on the verge of freedom after nearly 50 years of occupation. For those unfamiliar with the use of the term “monkey” to describe a soldier, it originates from the ruling minority’s dialect, where the word “Kerd”—meaning “monkey” in English—was used to address others derogatorily. Ironically, these soldiers lived up to the term in their treatment of Syrian citizens, carrying out acts of brutality and spreading chaos in the region.

The time has come to return the “Monkey Clan” to its original cage, putting an end to their barbarity and saving Syria from their reign of terror.
