It’s stitched into the fabric of daily life—schools, churches, suburban streets. Everywhere but the rarefied air of the upper crust. For years, they’ve shrugged off the carnage as someone else's problem, a thing that happens to "those people" in "those places." Now, it’s finally making its way to the cocktail circuits of the elite, and suddenly it’s a five-alarm fire.
