While the world's hostility is focused on the United States and its relatively well-catered for, state-of-the-art migrant processing centres, European migrant facilities are barb-wire enclosed, overcrowded, squalid and underfunded camps with mile-long backlogs of children waiting to be reunited with parents and guardians.
